ISF Cambodia kicks off the weekend with a thrilling collaboration
We’re excited to announce that, in partnership with AIA, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will support ISF Cambodia and wear special edition match shirts featuring our logo during their home match against Sheffield United on Sunday, 2 May at 19:15 BST (Monday, 3 May at 1:15 GMT +7).
Additionally, on Wednesday, 5 May, Tottenham Hotspur will auction off signed, match-worn shirts. All proceeds from this virtual auction will directly benefit ISF and the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation – the football club’s charitable arm dedicated to creating life-changing opportunities for people throughout their local community.
We’re honoured to have this unique opportunity to partner with such a recognised team and continue to bring awareness and support to our education, healthcare, and sports programmes. The global impact and potential of this particular collaboration is immeasurable, and ISF is incredibly grateful for both AIA and Tottenham Hotspur’s partnerships and support.
AIA and Tottenham Hotspur boast a long-term partnership promoting health and wellness across the Asia-Pacific region. ISF has been fortunate to work with AIA Cambodia since 2017 and Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Football Development coaches spent time in the capital city of Phnom Penh, working with participants and volunteer coaches to support ISF’s grassroots football initiatives.
That being said, this collaboration is a massive win for ISF, and given the continued devastating effects of COVID-19 throughout Cambodia, this fundraiser and collaboration couldn’t have come at a better time.
Vicheka Chourp, ISF’s Country Manager said,
“We are thankful to receive this invaluable support through ISF’s partnership with Tottenham Hotspur and AIA. Having [the] ISF logo on the jerseys during an EPL match is a great honour for our organization, our children, and all people in Cambodia. This is not only a great recognition of our work; it is, even more, a motivation for us to continue supporting thousands of underprivileged children in Cambodia – making a difference, one child at a time. We are extremely grateful to everyone at Tottenham Hotspur and AIA for making this possible.”
Donna-Maria Cullen, Tottenham Hotspur’s Executive Director, reiterates,
“[We are] a football club with a truly global platform, we have extensive experience in using the power of sport to create life-changing opportunities at home and abroad. We have seen the positive impact of ISF Cambodia in Phnom Penh first-hand and are pleased to be supporting such a worthwhile cause to help raise its profile and valuable funds, alongside our partners at AIA.”
Ms Pauline Teoh, AIA Cambodia’s Chief Executive Officer, added,
“We are honoured to be part of this initiative and continue our longstanding partnership with both Tottenham Hotspur and ISF, more so when it involves supporting underprivileged Cambodian children. Funds raised will not only be channelled towards these children but also contribute indirectly towards creating more awareness among Cambodians that there’s so much more we can do as a society to improve the welfare of the country’s underprivileged young.”
If you haven’t already, make sure you’re following us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We’ll be posting matchday updates as well as auction details as more information develops. Until then, we hope you’ll join us in cheering on the team from Cambodia, the UK, and the rest of the world.
