Smart Community Cup 2019

We were thrilled to participate in The Smart Community Cup 2019 which took place 26-27 January 2019.

This Football-based Youth Empowerment Tournament welcomed 240 youth (120 male and 120 female players), aged 14-18 years old and focused on:

  • Using life skills through professional youth football coaching and competing to create lasing benefits in male and female youth and young adult capacity building, gender equality, athletic and personal development together with physical and psychological health.
  • Developing a professional male and female youth football development infrastructure at the grass roots level across Cambodia.
Three teams from ISF participated in the tournament:
– U18 Boys
– U18 Girls
– U14 Boys
Our players put up a strong fight and our U18 Girls’ Team came runners-up in their competition and our ISF U14 Boys’ Team came first place in theirs along with one of  U14 boys winning MVP (Most Valuable Player) title in the tournament. Congratulations to all involved!
