We greatly value the enthusiasm of those interested in volunteering with ISF Cambodia. However, our volunteer opportunities are limited to roles requiring specific skills and professional experience, aligning with our commitment to support the community's holistic development. While we prioritize hiring locals for vacant positions, international volunteers play a vital role in roles that Cambodian nationals cannot fulfill, contributing to our mission of uplifting the community out of poverty. If there are no suitable volunteer positions in Cambodia, you can still support ISF Cambodia through grassroots fundraising or assisting our international offices with specific tasks. Your support, in any capacity, is invaluable to us.

We require a minimum of three months from volunteers. This is to ensure that you have time to learn about the organisation and teaching methods we are using and then have time to apply your skills in helping the cause.

We do not require you to pay us anything to volunteer. You are required to provide your own return airfares, accommodation, visa, health (travel) insurance and to be able to cover living expenses while you are here.

Cambodia is not a violent country, but bag snatching and pickpockets can be common - especially in tourist areas and at night. All visitors are encouraged to act with caution at all times and ensure personal belongings are secure.
