ISF Superheros at the Angkor Wat Half Marathon 2016

On 4th December 2016, 45 runners from all over the world joined the ISF Superheroes Team at the 21st Angkor Wat International Half Marathon. The half marathon, and associated 10k and 3k races took them through a truly amazing running course along the ancient temples of Siem Reap in Cambodia.

The races started early to avoid the heat, but as the sun climbed above the temples, the temperature rose. On the count of three, our Superheroes sped off in support to ISF! On their way to the finish line, some of our runners didn’t miss the chance to sightsee and take photos. You can check out some of the pictures from the event here.

Despite the hot weather, all our ISF Superheroes managed to finish their races and crossed the finish line, where the ISF cheering squad was waiting for them to celebrate their fantastic achievement!

Congratulations to our fastest runners: Eloise, Martin and Erik and thank you to everyone for your amazing effort and for helping us raise funds and awareness for our programmes!
