Congratulations to our #DrawDisability winners Srey and Theaney! Last year, they participated in the international #DrawDisability competition; out of 3000 submissions their drawings were among the 100 chosen. This week we received the book of the #DrawDisability competition which includes their amazing work.

The 100 most voted drawings of the #DrawDisability contest were presented in a final exhibition at the United Nations Headquarters in New York (USA) in December 2015, to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The final 100 drawings were selected by the public from a list of 250 finalists, chosen out of almost 3000 submissions from 50 countries worldwide.

Looking at the book, Theany said “I am very happy and very proud of myself that my drawing was selected among many other drawings. I almost have no words to describe my feeling now because I am too excited with this great result. This program not only gave me a best memory of drawing but gave me a lot of knowledge about disabilities. I am really happy that I can contribute my drawing to help empower disabled people. “
