As part of our goal to be truly inclusive, we are pleased to announce that ISF’s Football Programme now includes wheelchair users.

Ahead of the Football for Hope All Abilities Tournament on 23rd December, our coaches spent ten days with Jens Naumann from the German Wheelchair Federation and a group of young wheelchair users from LaValla School, just outside Phnom Penh.

All the participants, both coaches and players, were divided into three teams to make the training more engaging, fun and realistic.

Combining seminars at our school in Stung Meanchey and sessions at the ISF Sports Ground, the training covered a range of topics including appropriate pedagogical methods, adapting physical activities to the needs of diverse groups, safe transfer in and out of the wheelchair and the basics of wheelchair supply.
