If you are wondering why and how we celebrate international children’s day with our students…Please read on!

Children usually lack knowledge about their own rights, which could help them understand if they are being mistreated and encourage them to seek help. Each year, we organise an event in early June to promote children’s rights and raise awareness of their welfare, education and development. The lessons learnt have flow on effects to benefit the children’s friends and family members in the communities they live in. This event also serves as a reminder to the children’s parents about the importance and right of every child to receive an education and enjoy their childhood

This year we celebrated International Children’s Day on 31st May 2017 with 201 students and 50 of their family members! We shared food and gifts, played games and learnt more about children’s right and the value of education. The students had the time of their life!
