AIA-ISF Youth League – Latest results

For the third consecutive year, AIA (Cambodia) Life Insurance Plc (“AIACambodia”) and Indochina Starfish Foundation (“ISF”) have been working together to run Cambodia’s largest grassroots football league. Kicking off on 8 December 2019, AIA-ISF Youth League offers boys and girls from underprivileged backgrounds the opportunity to play football in a safe environment. The ultimate aim of this 6-month youth league is helping these children live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

At the heart of ISF’s youth league is the belief that sport has the potential to combat many of the social challenges facing young people in Cambodia, such as discrimination, lack of education, unemployment and preventable diseases. AIA Cambodia’s sponsorship of the league is part of its commitment to aid
disadvantaged children and communities through employment opportunities and supporting projects that promote healthy life choices.

Providing weekly coaching and tournaments to over 1,500 players around Phnom Penh, the annual league comprises six divisions of girls’ and boys’ teams in the under-10, under-14 and under-18 age ranges, along with deaf and hearing-impaired teams. Weekly match results can be found below. For photos check the ISF Sports Ground Facebook Page. Matches usually take place every Sunday at the ISF Sports Ground and all are welcome to attend.
